Paid Time Off 

Intermountain Healthcare provides a Paid Time Off (PTO) program which can be used for any purpose. This includes vacations, sick days, or other personal reasons. You start accruing your PTO on your first day of employment and increase the longer you stay with the company. Intermountain also offers full-time employees ten paid holidays throughout the year and part-time employees accrue PTO based on the number of hours they work per pay period. Plus, new parents get 4 weeks paid leave. 

401k Plan 

As an employee you can participate in the 401k plan right away. Which can save both pre-tax and after-tax options. The plan has a wide range of investment offerings and matching contributions from Intermountain. 

Fitness and Wellbeing

Many Intermountain locations have on-site exercise facilities which every employee has access to. Intermountain also offers discounts for other community fitness centers such as: VASA, City Creek Gym, Anytime Fitness and GlobalFit Gym Network among others.

They also offer an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) to give professional counseling services to all Intermountain employees and their immediate family members. This includes access to confidential counseling, elder care services, crisis intervention and education to address a variety of issues for free.

Family Benefits 

Intermountain has provided childcare since its first hospital opened in 1985. Today, they offer on-site or nearby Child Development Centers exclusively for employees. Available at their sites in Salt Lake City, Logan, Ogden, American Fork, Provo, and St. George.
