To get started, we’ve created a list of the 20 best hospitals for salary satisfaction in the North and Central US for you so you can make 2020 the year that you get the salary you deserve! 


1. Alegent Health – Mercy Hospital, Corning, Iowa

Alegent Health – Mercy Hospital, Corning, Iowa, now known as CHI Health Mercy Corning. This hospital provides healthcare for residents of the Adams and Taylor counties in Iowa and has 22 beds for acute inpatients, 24-hour ER and specialist care for diabetes, cancer, cardiovascular diseases and more. New Vista. 300 Broadway Healthcare, LLC looks after care of elderly or sick residents and has a team of doctors, nurses, physical therapists, speech therapists, dieticians, social workers and recreation personnel on board. 300 Broadway Healthcare, LLC ranks number 2 in our list because it has a salary satisfaction score of 4.32. The Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN is ranked No. 1 on the U.S. News and World Report’s Best Hospitals Honor Roll. Although the Mayo Clinic was founded, and still has its first hospital in Rochester, Minnesota, this award-winning healthcare center is part of the larger Mayo Clinic Health System, which has 19 hospitals in Minnesota, Wisconsin and Iowa. 4. University of Utah Hospital and Clinics

As the Mountain West’s only academic health care system the University of Utah Hospital and Clinics offers both routine care and highly specialized treatment in more than 200 medical specialties, along with medical research and teaching. This health care system ranks 4th on our list because it has been awarded a salary satisfaction score of 4.47 by users on kununu with one telling us, that the University of Utah Hospital and Clinics “pays the best in the valley for what I do!” See the other reviews here.

5. Umass Memorial Healthcare

Salary Satisfaction score: 4.03 

Overall company score: 3.94

Umass Memorial Healthcare is a non-profit healthcare network. As the clinical partner of the University of Massachusetts Medical School, it’s the largest health care system in Central Massachusetts and there are currently 1,700 physicians on the active medical staff, 3,000 registered nurses, 13,000 total employees and 1,125 beds in the network’s hospitals! Kununu users have given their employer a salary satisfaction score of 4.03 which places them at number 5 on our list. As such, it’s one of the largest multispecialty groups in the nation, with 25 locations in Minneapolis, MN and surrounding suburbs. This employer ranks number 6 on our list because employees have given Park Nicollet Health Services a salary satisfaction score of 4.02! 7. Christiana Care Health System

Christiana Care Health Services in Newark, NJ, began offering its exclusive Fast Breast MRI to women who have dense breast tissue (or an immediate risk of breast cancer) in July of last year. Breast MRI is advertised as being able to detect more breast cancer than other available screening methods and this employer is at the forefront of offering such services. Healthpartners Inc. is an integrated, nonprofit health care provider and health insurance company located in Bloomington, Minnesota offering care, coverage, research and education to its members, patients and the community. 13. Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center

17. Fairview Clinics

Fairview General Hospital is a 488-bed hospital located in the west of Cleveland, overlooking the Cleveland Metroparks. Osf Healthcare is a not-for-profit Catholic health care organization that operates a medical group, hospital system, and other health care facilities in Illinois and Michigan. Headquartered in Peoria, Illinois, OSF HealthCare is owned and operated by the Sisters of the Third Order of St. Francis.
